Look out Hondas and Toyotas!

This is my 1972 Oldsmobile Ninety Eight LS 4 dr Hardtop, or a"Holiday Sedan", as Oldsmobile called this body style. I have owned this car about 15 years. It has a 4 bbl 455 Rocket(Just like the song) with a TH 400 trans and a 2.91 rear. Like most Olds 98's,this car is very loaded, it has every option available except for Cruise Control, "Twilight Sentinel"(The "Automatic"headlights), Power Locks, "Comfortron"(Automatically controlled A/C/Heat) and the"Speed Minder"speedo. (That was the one with the buzzer that goes off when you hit the selected speed, and also had a Trip Odometer) This car has in excess of 334,000 miles as I write this, that is 334,000 miles I can prove! I have driven this car over 200,000 miles myself since buying it. In the time I have owned it, I have added Dual Exhaust, Air Shocks, and a 1983 Delco Am/Fm/Cass radio, and added several extra speakers, mainly behind the backrest of the rear seat. I also have a Cobra 29 C.B.Radio, and a Trailer Hitch. This car was originally Bamboo Creame (Pastel Yellow) with a Beige vinyl top. As you can see, it is now Black over Black. I am now in the progress of restoring this car, I will also be waking up the Sleeping Giant under the hood doing so, making an already powerful car even more potent, like it was meant to be. As the advertising slogan said in 1972-----"It's quite a substantial car".-----4,890 lbs, and barely under 19 feet long! (But can you get 6 people and all their gear comfortably into a Compact?)
